Our client is a leader multinational company with branches across Europe and America. We are looking for a Solutions Architect, to plan, coordinate and direct the Unified Communications and Collaboration area.
We are looking for a professional with technical background but also project management skills and deep knowledge of Unified Communications and corporate Collaboration technology solutions.
This is a great opportunitty to join a challenging position in a solid multinational top company with headquarters in Barcelona city center. The chosen candidate will lead the change process within this area from a long term point of view, starting form the existing technology, he will study, compare, implant new solutions and maintain and tune them. He will be in charge of the third parties involved and outsourcing partners.
We are looking for a capable young enthusiastic engineer with excellent project and people management skills.

Functions:
- Provide guidelines to improve employees collaboration based on Collaboration platforms and unified communications technologies available in the market (Microsoft and Cisco).
- Improve employees mobility, to all countries, due to company expansion roadmap during next years.
- Provide 3rd level support on existing platforms ( Documentum, custom Intranet, Websphere application server).
- Project Management.
- Integration of Collaboration platforms with social platforms.
- Integrate Collaboration strategies with Unified Communications solutions, Videoconferencing (internal/external), presence, chat.
- Deploy solutions improving employees Mobility, “from anywhere, from anydevice”.
- Coordinates work and tracks the progress of engineers and vendors in the resolution of technical problems.
- Tests and validates business continuity, retention and disaster recovery plans.
- Maintains positive and productive vendor relationships and reviews vendor contracts and agreements.
- Monitors budget expenses and variations.


Requisitos

Estudios mínimos: Ingeniero Superior
Experiencia mínima: Más de 5 años
Imprescindible residente en: Provincia Puesto Vacante
Requisitos mínimos: - Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Telecommunications.
- Additional requirements include hands-on experience with collaboration and unified communications technologies with at least two years in a lead or supervisory role in an IT environment.
- Experience of working in an international, multi-cultural environment, ideally European organisations.
- Knowledge in Collaboration and Unified Communications Platforms (Microsoft Share Point, Microsoft Lync, Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes).
- ITIL, PMP, or other PM certifications is a plus.
- Leadership skills and the ability to deal with different roles within the organisation.
- Proficient in English.
- Travel availability.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment.
