Reporting to the Assistant Controller, Iberia, the successful candidate will support key activities within the Financial Reporting and Controls & Compliance Processes as well as other Business Support activities. This is a supporting role within the local organisation and a key player within the broader Iberia team. He/she will establish and reinforce a company culture defined by commitment to customers, quality, performance, results, collaboration and accountability. The main objectives of the role will be the following: - Active participation in the Closing Process for the Bard Spanish entity. -Be responsible for the Accounts Payable and Disbursement for Bard in Iberia. - Support other key aspects of Treasury, Inventory and fixed Asset Management. - Review FCPA materials and generate Cost Management reports. - Prepare all necessary documentation for month-end closing. - Reconcile and post intercompany A/P activity. - Report sales and costs confirmations - Prepare warranty and pre-paid expenses provisions and postings. - Calculate Fixed Assets depreciation and management of additions and write-offs. -Maintain accounts receivable and collections customer master file. -Monitor inventory to prepare ROI report highlighting results that impact business decisions -Own the full purchase order process: PO review, 3-way match (PO-Invoice) and Non-PO posting. -Maintain supplier master file. -Record business transactions and key daily worksheets to the general ledger system. -Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors. -Review petty cash and preparation of bank account reconciliation. -Review FCPA related material as requested as well as acting as SOX tester. -Investigate and follow-up on discrepancies or other accounting matters. -Perform some Car Fleet Management responsibilities. -Ensure that all accounting documents conform to standards with regard to required authorizations, accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation. -Communicate with others in order to provide or obtain information related to area of activity, including fee payments, policies and procedures.
