| Descripción de la oferta: | Organization Our client is a global leader in the distribution of wireless devices and the provisioning of customized logistic services to the wireless industry. For its shared service centre they are looking for an IT Support Engineer. Function As a IT Support Engineer you will be working as a part of an infrastructure team working out of the Barcelona facility looking after the in-house personnel and general European faults. You will be reporting directly to the head of IT Server Systems. Your main responsibilities: -Support of desktop, server and application issues -Hardware trouble shooting -1st line support of Interactive Intelligence VOIP Telephone system -Working with hardware and MS application software -Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications -monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks -Talking staff/clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone -Testing and evaluating new technology -Working with the global help desk to run trouble tickets |

| Experiencia mínima: | Al menos 3 años |
| Requisitos mínimos: | -Experience and general knowledge of networks, TCP-IP, VOIP, network security, VPN’s systems, PC and Server hardware, Digital and analogue circuits, Structured Cabling -Experience in backup technologies Skills: -Fluent English -Ability to use all Microsoft packages in English to generate reports and general office communication. -Knowledge in: Dell and HP Hardware, Microsoft XP and Windows 7,Microsoft office – Word / Excel / Project / Visio, Mac – Snow Leopard, Printers Technology, MS Exchange, VMware, McAfee Anti-Virus, General hardware configurations, I3 IP Telephony, Sharepoint,General Data Networking. |
| Requisitos deseados: | Softskills -Team player with excellent communication skills -Natural fault identifier. -Passion for IT support in a customer facing role with the ability to make the customer feel important on each and every call -Time keeping and reliability are key factors -Ability to be flexible on working hours to meet demand (Weekend working may be required from time to time as well as travel and shift work from 08:30 to 18:00 hrs.) |
