The Innovation Engineer is part of Fon’s Architecture Department, which is responsible for driving the technological and technical design at Fon. The role of the Innovation Team is to analyze and demonstrate (through proof of concept, demo, mock-up, etc.) whether different technologies and/or ideas can be used by Fon at any level (business, operations, etc.). The Innovation Engineer is part of a small team but will interact frequently with other Fon teams. The position is based in our central offices in Madrid, Spain. |

| Experiencia mínima: | Al menos 2 años |
| Requisitos mínimos: | - University degree (ingenerio superior de telecomunicaciones preferred). - Broad knowledge of telecommunications, especially telematics. - Ability to learn cutting-edge technologies. - Skilled in Linux. - C programming ability. - Good knowledge of OSI/IP model. - Skilled in debugging, troubleshooting, investigating alternative solutions. - Self-motivated. - Comfortable with project-based work in a somewhat unstructured environment. - Advanced level of English. Preferred: - +/-3 years prior experience in telecommunications, telematics, networking, programming, internet, computer technology. - Knowledge of WiFi. - Knowledge of hardware, electronics. - Knowledge of mobile programming. |
