| Descripción de la oferta: | Properly deploy, administer, maintain and manage all databases, guaranteeing at all times the quality, security, availability and its evolution according to business needs, ensuring the provision of services within the framework of the SLAs. Coordinate the execution of all the activities regarding databases accessibility, performance maintenance on the data models, administrative tasks for on-going services, process control, resource release, optimization and improvement of the performance of database environments and of the development and maintenance of the technical utilities needed for this. Coordinate the development and run of internal analysis tools (registration, deregistration, maintenance and follow-up), all physical database administration functions so as to develop, implement, update, test, and maintain the databases required . These tasks include: Administration and maintenance of any associated storage management services. Installation and maintenance, as well as tailoring and monitoring of database software products (including database client software on servers). Backup and recovery. Ensuring that agreed standards regarding the creation, configuration and administration of all databases and associated areas are applied and maintained. Providing all required administrative and technical support as requested. Plan for changes in the size of databases that result from business growth and project implementation based on information supplied, and include these plans alongside the service capacity plans. Perform database shutdowns and restarts when necessary. Maintain the databases to meet the service levels and other performance standards, to maximise efficiency, and to minimise outages as required. Perform regular database reorganizations to optimise performance as and when required in order that the service levels which apply to any database are met. Maintain, update, and implement database archive processes and procedures to recover from an outage or corruption in a timely manner in order to meet business requirements. Provide physical database administration support, including providing backups and restores of data in a timely manner. Install, maintain, and support relevant database software products. Test and implement database environment changes. Proactively monitor and plan to prevent internal database out-of-capacity situations (for example, dataset or table space capacity events and full log files). Correct internal database out-of-capacity situations caused by unusual activities in a timely manner (for example, dataset or table space capacity events and full log files). Provide any database functional information including files generated by the database and associated systems. Provide technical advice to the ADM and database administration groups and assist ADM groups in performance testing and operating system and database performance tuning. Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of physical database standards and procedures. |
