Descripción de la oferta: DEIMOS is selecting an engineer to be integrated in the GNC/AOCS Division of the Aerospace Engineering Business Unit. The work of the GNC/AOCS Division is oriented to technology research, innovation and development of operational navigation, guidance and control functions and systems for Earth Observation, Science, Exploration and Space Transportation missions. As a matter of reference, DEIMOS projects cover:
„h Formation flying
„h Autonomous in-orbit Rendezvous
„h Space Transportation Systems and Re-Entry vehicles
„h Planetary Entry, Descent and Landing
„h Engineering tools oriented to Mission and GNC/AOCS design process

Main Duties:
„h Participation and/or lead in GNC/AOCS systems design and implementation.
„h GNC/AOCS algorithm development, from conception to implementation and coding
„h Support to mission design from the GNC/AOCS perspective
„h Involvement in R&D GNC/AOCS project involving a team of 2-3 people
„h Play an active role in fostering engineering processing consolidation, promoting the
realisation of Technology Research, Innovation and Development actions.


Requisitos

Estudios mínimos: Ingeniero Superior
Experiencia mínima: De 3 a 5 años
Requisitos mínimos: Education: A recognized engineering degree (Electrical, Aerospace, Control)
Desired: Postgraduate studies (e.g. M.Sc.) providing a solid background in control
and/or estimation theory.

The following capabilities are required for the post:
„h Solid theoretical background in two or more of the following areas: space flight
mechanics, numerical methods, control theory, guidance techniques, estimation
and/or mathematical statistics, optimisation
„h Practical design experience in guidance, navigation and control functions
„h Acquainted with the GNC/AOCS system design and implementation process
„h Excellent knowledge of the Matlab/Simulink environment
„h Good programming skills in C-language.

Language Skills:Good level of English, spoken as well as written
