About the Role
Vena Energy is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for Onshore Wind Project to lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of utility-scale onshore wind projects in the Philippines. The role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with Vena Energy's quality and technical requirements.
This is a site-based leadership role that requires a willingness to relocate to the Philippines and spend significant time on project sites throughout the construction and commissioning phases.
-Lead the tendering, evaluation, and contracting of wind project packages.
-Develop and oversee project schedules, resource plans, logistics strategies, and risk mitigation plans for both TSI and BOP scopes.
-Manage the construction, installation, commissioning, and handover of utility-scale wind projects, including wind turbine foundations, roads, electrical systems, transmission lines, and substations.
-Coordinate and manage EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective project delivery.
-Monitor project progress, budget, risks, and contractor performance, implementing corrective actions when required.
-Address challenges associated with hilly, mountainous, and remote project locations, including logistics, transportation, and stakeholder management.
-Ensure compliance with Vena Energy's safety, quality, environmental, and technical standards.
-Lead project close-out activities, including testing, commissioning, documentation, contractor deliverables, and lessons learned.
Qualifications and Experience
-Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
-8-10 years of experience to onshore wind projects.
-Proven track record in the successful construction and completion of utility-scale wind projects.
-Demonstrated experience delivering wind projects in hilly, mountainous, remote, or complex terrain environments.
-Strong experience managing both TSI (Turbine Supply and Installation) and BOP (Balance of Plant) contracts.
We offer a highly competitive compensation package ranging from €94,000 to €135,000 gross per year, with flexibility to negotiate for exceptional candidates based on experience, expertise, and overall fit for the role.
