| Descripción de la oferta: | - Supports administration of contracts and purchasing function, to ensure cost effective procurement and delivery of material and service to support plant and customer requirements, according to given purchasing conditions. - Requires ability to understand materials requirements and choose from several options. - Negotiates with suppliers within the established margins, quality levels, conditions and delivery terms, prices and payment terms. - Searches alternative sources and makes vendor selections or suggestions. - Ensures cost effective procurement and delivery of material and service to support plant and customer requirements. - Reviews requests, determines probable sources, solicits bids, prepares ordering documents, and maintains market data relative to suppliers and prices. - Selects products for purchase by testing, observing, or examining items. - Determines method of procurement, whether direct purchase or bid. - Prepares purchase orders or bid requests. - Reviews bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority. - Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine the source of trouble and take corrective action. |
