About the role We are seeking an excellent Part-Time A Level Chemistry Teacher. The successful candidate will teach Chemistry (British Curriculum) to students aged 16–19. Teaching hours will be blocked together, ideally across three half days per week, although two days may be considered for the right candidate. We are looking for someone warm, organised, academically ambitious and committed to helping students achieve their personal best. Key responsibilities The successful candidate will be expected to: Plan and deliver high-quality A Level Chemistry lessons in line with the Pearson Edexcel International A Level specification. Support and guidance will be provided for candidates who are new to this curriculum. Prepare students effectively for external examinations. Differentiate teaching, set appropriate homework and provide clear, timely feedback. Monitor student progress and communicate concerns promptly.
