About the role: You will be part of the Network team, which is responsible for the operation, design, configuration and implementation of the entire network infrastructure at SD Worx. Customer centricity should be the top priority. The team works in a complex multidisciplinary infrastructure consisting of Cisco switches and routers, Checkpoint firewalls, and F5 load balancers. Your responsibilities: 1. Align with business and projects in terms of requests, (service) requests and new services 2. Assess new applications based on architectural standards, policies and regulations 3. Align designs with other teams in the technical engineering department 4. Perform a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of major incidents in collaboration with senior engineers 5. Provide level 3 operational support on incidents, resolving complex network issues 6. Prepare (plan) network changes for approval and deployment by the CAB 7. Deploy network changes 8. Document solutions and ensure knowledge transfer within the team 9. Optimize the current environment 10. Maintain and support projects (e.g., data center projects) 11. Design and develop advanced features in a business context 12. International Service Engineer Your Mission: During the first weeks as a Service Engineer, you will become familiar with QIPC-EAE B.V.'s systems and their applications in the printing industry. After this period, you will independently conduct installation and service work at clients’ locations. Although the position requires a high degree of independence, you will also be part of a close team of service engineers. Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, are essential as you will be a key representative of our company. Finally, international travel and intercultural communication are important aspects of the job (travel frequency: 70%). In addition to applying installation and service work in the printing industry, you are also willing to anticipate further logistics projects requiring mechanical/electrical support in the logistics industry. As an international service engineer, you are responsible for several tasks within projects. These include gathering specifications, performing installation and commissioning work of our high-end control systems. After sales activities such as maintenance, conducting system diagnostics and system training complete the job-profile. Activities are carried out in close cooperation and with the support of project management and customer support. Your Profile: Intermediate vocational education degree (HBO or MBO+) in electrical engineering, measurement and control engineering, computer science, or a related field. Possession of a VCA certificate (or willing to achieve) and a valid driver’s license. Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and approach work in a goal-oriented manner. Proficiency in English is required; German language skills are a plus. Additional languages are welcome but not required.
