To plan and manage time-critical logistics solutions throughout Europe and worldwide, operating within strict time constraints and ensuring all schedules and deadlines are met. • Liaise with international carriers to agree transport costs and ensure the best possible solutions are found to fit the client’s requirements • Tender job revenues to clients, ensuring a bespoke solution is found for them, best fitting their request and offering different transport solutions where applicable • Monitor the progression of transports, advising the client at agreed milestones and ensuring the transports are running to schedule • Ensure our bespoke transportation management system is correctly monitored and updated when required • Build excellent relationships with multinational clients who are under immense pressure • Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and deal with enquires quickly

Multinational company located in Asturias is looking for a person to join its procurement team. FUNCTIONS Procurement Front Desk: providing support in local language to internal and external customers on their needs around the Requisition to Pay process. -Execute the buy process for low value and non-strategic goods & services on an efficient manner. -Create and maintain purchasing documents and support other buyers -Payment problems resolution (investigation and improvement). -Vendor Master Management: create, maintain and approve suppliers - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and standardization within the Procurement Service Center. SKILLS Excel, detail oriented, time management, adaptability, teamwork SAP / Ariba knowledge is a plus Experience in logistics tasks and the use of a Transportation Management System (TMS) or Trax is a plus.

Key Responsibilities May Include: - Oversee the execution of order processing to ensure on-time deliveries to customers and monitor logistics performance. - Manage dedicated fleets and transportation routes, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules and minimizing disruptions. - Serve as a key point of contact for customers, addressing queries, managing urgent requests, and resolving logistics-related issues in real-time. - Support central teams in managing and resolving logistics-related incidents, ensuring minimal impact on service levels. - Track performance metrics related to on-time deliveries, transport quality, and customer satisfaction. Proactively address any variances. - Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, optimize costs, and enhance service delivery through collaboration with internal teams and third-party providers. - Collaborate with customer service, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of logistics activities with broader business goals. Qualifications/Experience: - Supply Chain experience. - Knowledge of transport planning and tendering is an advantage. - Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience. - 1-3 years of business experience in a Supply Chain Management environment. - Knowledge of CHEP, BlueYonder, SAP, BlueJay, Excel are a plus. - Experience in an office environment with frequent customer and provider contacts (emails, calls). - Experience in an environment with urgent requests and comfortable managing those urgencies. - Experience in an international office environment is a plus. Languages: Essential: English & French Desired: Another European Language
