Scope of the position The candidate will support our F&B Managers to oversee the team, ensuring that the team is consistently trained, developed and coached. Duties and supporting responsibilities ·Handle complaints in a timely and efficient manner. ·To use initiative in relation to the speedy resolution of customer / client queries or problems. ·To report on all guest / client feedback. To anticipate guests needs whenever possible to enhance quality service and in turn enhance guest satisfaction. ·To present a positive personal image to the customer at all times. ·To show respect for other team members at all times. To promote good team relations in the departments ensuring fairness and consistency in dealing with all team members. ·To ensure an environment exists which promotes employee morale & encourages the team to have pride & commitment in their area of work. ·To ensure a high level of hygiene throughout the department at all times, with a strict cleaning schedule in operation. ·Ensures that the highest standards of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, appearance, body language and conduct of resort employees is maintained by all employees in the department. ·To carry out any other reasonable task as requested by the F&B Director. ·To cover Duty Manager shifts as required. What’s the job? As Front Office Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising the Front Office team, ensuring the service is on point and solving any issue reported by the team. You’ll report to the Front Office Manager. Your day-to-day ·Support the Front Office Manager all required tasks. ·Assign work and supervise team members performance in all Front Office procedures including, but not limited to, guest check-in and check-out, lobby traffic and flow, luggage assistance, telephone operator services and determining room rates and availability ·Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues and complaints in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. ·Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints. ·Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in. ·Schedule, assign daily work, lead pre-shift meetings, inform and train team members. ·Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance. What we need from you ·Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field. ·2+ years’ experience working in Front Office department as supervisor. ·Must be fluent in local language and English, additional languages will be highly valuable. ·Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, emphatic, team-worker and with passion for service.
