As Process Engineer reporting to our Production Supervisor, you’ll be accountable and lead technical support for the specification, purchase, installation and continuous improvement of our production processes. That’ll involve coordinating projects including new products, capacity expansion and process development on pilot and industrial tools and equipment. You’ll also be in charge for leading and developing projects to improve and optimize our processes, using the methodology Six Sigma with the collaboration of Maintenance and Engineering Department as well as Quality, CI and Sustainability departments in its activities in the Production area. Main responsibilities: Independently analyzes moderately sophisticated technical process problems and implements resolution, in collaboration with Maintenance, Manufacturing and Quality. Involves Engineering department when the resolution of problems requires their intervention. Participate in process/product validation. Recommends machine improvements and capital equipment projects. Support to realization of budgeted cost reductions and productivity improvements. Sponsors and supports the implementation of continuous improvement principles by highlighting deficiencies and recommending and driving changes in training, working practices and processes. Analyse and improve work flows within and across departments. Review the KPI monitoring systems, verifies and improve their ability to describe operations performances. About you Educated in Engineering (preferably specializing in Mechanical, Industrial Polymer Science or a related subject area), with experience in continuous improvement. Your knowledge and experience of process development, will complement your skills in problem analysis and fault-finding. You also have a strong grasp of structured and controlled working practices, with clear and accurate documentation, reporting and presentation skills and the ability to prioritize. In addition to outstanding project management (MS Project), analytical and interpersonal skills, your other attributes include: Fluent in English is required. Experience of Six Sigma methodologies. Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Regulatory requirements. Previous experience within a Clean Room environment (desirable). Salary range for this role: EUR 29,000 - EUR 36,000

Aplicación de metodologías de tiempos y simulación para el análisis de ciclos de fabricación y propuesta de acciones correctivas. Dar soporte a los Program Managers en la validación de procesos de nuevos equipos para su aprobación en las instalaciones de fabricación de los clientes. Proporcionar soporte técnico en presentaciones comerciales y en la exposición de propuestas/ofertas. Elaboración de informes de lecciones aprendidas para futuros análisis y mejora continua. Liderar casos de resolución de problemas e implementar acciones correctivas basadas en análisis de causa raíz. Identificar soluciones tecnológicas para mejorar la productividad y el rendimiento de fabricación. Liderar el análisis de datos de producción mediante correlaciones, regresiones y análisis de variabilidad. Job Purpose Lead the structured implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices across OCTG operations in Spain (Basque Country and Cantabria). The role focuses on standardizing operational routines, improving performance, and fostering a data-driven culture aligned with SQDCAE principles. Key Responsibilities Lean Deployment & Operational Excellence Lead the phased deployment of Lean tools and routines, starting with production processes and progressively extending to maintenance and logistics. Drive the implementation of 5S/6S as the foundational Lean system to ensure workplace organization, safety, and visual management. Identify and eliminate waste using Lean principles. Daily Management System (SQDCAE) Implement and sustain SQDCAE daily management routines (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Availability, Engagement). Design, deploy, and maintain visual management boards for shift-level and plant-level performance tracking. Facilitate daily shift meetings, ensuring structured tracking of issues, actions, and escalations. Establish and manage escalation routines. Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization Lead and support improvement initiatives including Kaizen, SMED, Standard Work, Line Balancing, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and TPM. Support the definition and monitoring of KPIs, baseline performance, and operational standards. Translate process data into actionable insights to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency. Training & Change Management Train and coach supervisors, team leaders, and operators in Lean principles and tools. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability at all organizational levels. Ensure sustainability of improvements through audits, follow-ups, and ownership transfer to operations teams. Digitalization & Reporting Support the transition from manual tracking systems to digital dashboards and reporting tools. Promote a step-by-step approach: manual ¿ visual ¿ digital, ensuring value-driven digitalization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Planning, Supply Chain) to standardize processes and improve execution discipline. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing environments (metal/mechanical industry preferred). Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement roles. Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green Belt preferred; Black Belt is a plus). Technical Skills Strong knowledge of Lean tools: 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, SMED, VSM, TPM. Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies: PDCA, A3, 5 Whys, Ishikawa. Ability to analyze process data and convert insights into practical improvements. Proficiency in digital tools (advanced Excel, ERP systems; Qlik is a plus).
