Your role & responsibilities MACADAM is a recognized leader in automotive inspection and field operations management across Europe. As part of the expansion of our business in Spain, we are seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead and structure our operations throughout the Spanish territory. You will be the operational point of contact for Spain. Your role is to ensure the smooth running of all field activities in this country. You will report to the Head of Operations Deputy for the South-West region (FR – ES – PT), who is located in France. In this role, your main responsibilities will include: Supervising daily operations: inspections, audits, and field services. Driving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and managing operational reporting. Ensuring service quality and high levels of customer satisfaction. Managing, supporting, and developing (external) field teams. Optimizing operational organization and production processes, e.g. with automation. Coordinating activities with the scheduling, quality, HR, and sales departments. Participating in the recruitment, onboarding, and monitoring of external stakeholders/contractors. Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations. Maintaining efficient geographical coverage of resources across the country. Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of operations. You will work in close collaboration with the French and Portuguese teams in an international environment. Your profile Significant experience in operational field management. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including project and stakeholder management. Natural leadership with the ability to unite and motivate teams. Strong ability to manage stress and prioritize tasks effectively, with a problem solving mindset. Proficiency in IT tools and MS Office Suite, including Excel and PowerBI Fluent Spanish and professional English proficiency (B1 minimum) are mandatory. Proficiency in French is a strong asset. About the Role Our cement site service business is growing, and we are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our Feeding and Dosing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting—primarily within our Fuller Pfister feeding and dosing product portfolio. You can expect more than 200 travel days per year, with customer sites serving as your primary workplace. You will be employed in Europe; however, as assignments are executed globally, you can work from abroad and travel directly from your home location to customer sites. Project durations typically range from a few days to several weeks. While assignments are global, most projects are carried out within Europe. You will become part of a specialized team of field engineers supporting customers worldwide. At site, you will act as the primary technical contact for the customer. Your Responsibilities Perform independent work at cement plants and similar industries worldwide Commission, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot feeding and dosing equipment Conduct customer training at site or in our workshop Perform assembly checks, calibration, and final approval of equipment Provide remote support and engage with customers to identify potential sales leads and new opportunities What You Bring Electrical education within electronics, instrumentation, or electromechanics Strong mechanical knowledge and practical skills Ability to explain and discuss technical matters confidently with clients Fluent written and spoken English (additional language skills are an advantage) High flexibility and willingness to travel frequently, often at short notice Experience with weighing, feeding, and dosing equipment in the cement industry (advantageous) Experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and/or Beckhoff PLC systems (advantageous) What We Offer We offer a secure position in a globally operating company.
